135mm or 70-200mm for automotive / people?

You'll love the 70-200 F/2.8 IS. If you can get that good of a deal jump on it, it's ultimately the best of all the worlds of your other options.

i hope so :) i borrowed one in december, and i really loved it.

now im going to drop my whole first paycheck on one. looks like its back to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a little while.

hopefully this concludes my lens collection! (tokina 12-24, sigma 17-70, carl zeiss 135, ghetto fisheye for kit lens, and now the 70-200)

I love the 135L for automotive shots. If you have another lens for the wider shots, you probably won't need the zoom.

i was honestly considering the 135, but at this price, i cannot pass up the 70-200!

135L is an amazing piece of glass! You'd have a lot more versatility with the 70-200 though. You flash a lot so I presume you won't really need the f/2 much so I'd say go with a 70-200.
