Went to WWT Slimbridge on Saturday morning to try 40D + 600mm for birds in flight, Hard work but had to try. ;)

These were taken from the Robbie Garnett hide, which was bursting at the seams with photographers, would be interested to know how many pictures in total were taken in the 3 hours i was there.:) the cameras were rattling away !!!!

Almost to many birds in view, it was hard to get a clean background.

Hope you like.....C + C welcome.

Nice shots Glenn, never seen or heard of a Shelduck before. Very nice looking bird and a great shot too. Is it a duck or a goose size?

canonloader, it's smaller than the canada goose, i would say it's like a large Mallard or american wood duck,
