I had mine for a few weeks before giving it away. They work better in subdued light, and are pretty directional, but all in all pretty naff.

The worst thing for me is that it took longer (a lot longer) to recover after each shot than my strobes took to recycle.

I replaced mine with a 1/3 price ebay trigger (very similar to the AB's one) and it works very well.

I think the Paul Buff models are the RFT1 - I think. There is another thread today that mentions battery drain with these at the moment. If I come across it again I will post you the link.

I wouldn't whole heartedly recommend the ebay triggers 100%, I do get the odd misfire - but pretty rarely to be honest.
I think this has more to do with how it sits on the hot-shoe rather than any radio link problems, with my set anyway, but for the money if you are not shooting for income, they are certainly better than the current trigger you have now.

Next step up may be the Sky ports, but a fair bit of of expense.

I would look around and do a search on what may be your next purchase, there might be an intermediate solution that is far more reliable, and better priced.
Good luck
