YAY! The wife & I just purchased our first home! One thing I DIDN'T count on is all the nickel-n-dime fees that really start to add up (home inspection, lender costs, Escrow, etc, etc) and ultimately.....closing costs. UGH!

ME: "Wow. This is really starting to tally up quick!"

WIFE: *sigh* "Tell me about it"

ME: [ pauses] "..........Well, if I need to, I can sell my cameras & equip., to help us cover costs"

WIFE: "No! I know that'll be something you'll regret in the future. Between what we have saved up, and what mom-n-dad are willing to help us out with, we should have it covered, hon."

whew!
