How old are you?

According to my kids, "Older than dirt"
According to my son in law, I was there when Christ walked the earth!

I win (or lose). I've been eligible to withdraw from my 401-k without penalty for almost 2 years.

People around our age will know what this means in years. Younger people won't give a crap.;):)

eh!
Now there's a language I understand!
Y'all know what I mean, huh? :lol::lol:

So you only have 3 years on me. But! That means we came from the same era of cars, and that's why we can both identify the American iron in a heartbeat.
As soon as I saw your entry in the vehicle thread, I knew instantly - 58 t-bird, or like you say, 59 that had the same back end. I actually liked the outward appearance of the back end of the '60 with the triple tail lights as opposed to the double in the 58-59. They were such a great looking car!

My parents had a family friend that I, as a 6 year old, knew as Uncle Al. He had a 58 T-bird and a 59 Caddy. Back in '60, I remember my mom being so much in love with the old Caddy. It was a gorgeous thing with the massive fins and all that. And it was red. I forget the color of the 58 T-Bird, think it was red too. I just remember being in awe over both cars, as a child. I remember staring at them, mouth agape just being fascinated at them.

Not sure what ever happened to "Uncle Al"

I've promised myself that when I retire in a couple of years, my retirement gift to myself will be a fully restored 59 Caddy convertible. I had a coupe back in the early 80's, but I sold it when I relocated to the Bay area.

:( I'm older than both of you (67) and I didn't know the Merc. How about the other vehicle? It's an International Harvester Traveler but I don't know the year. Here's a 100% crop from the first image I posted.

Those Travelers looked the same through many years.
That one looks to be about a 64. My brothers in laws had one years ago and it looked a lot like that one. Friend of mine had a 69 but it looked a bit different than that one, not much, but a bit different.

I was thinking 65 through 67 for the International.
Yup, cars are fun. I spent 1975 through 1977 in Vanuys California.
Cruising Vanuys BLVD on a Wednesday evening was a lot like what they portrayed in the movie American Graffiti. :D
Saturday, OTOH, was time to get serious. Street racers would meet behind the B of A while trying to trick each other into running against each other for money.
I got to drive a lot of those Muscle Cars like they were meant to be driven, and have fond memories of doing just that. ;)

You may be closer than my guesstimate.
The pic you posted had an additional light below and to the side of the tail light. The link to the pic of the 65 I posted didn't.

I dug up a pic of a 67 and the body shape and tail lights are the same, but the 67 has the extra light that your posted picture had.
So it could be 67. I didn't check 66

Edit - I just checked and the 66 had the additional backup lights as well, so the picture here could be 66 or 67

And I checked pics of 68 and it doesn't have the backup lights. odd....

Looking at the waterline, it seems to be taking on water and sinking.
Me thinks it will soon be abandoned in Davey Jones Locker.
