Thanks, theres three of those 2002s there. This one just happened to be the most interesting.
One of them still has some salvagable body panels on it....

Where at? Here at POTN?

Wow I'm late to respond, sorry about that.
No they werent here on POTN, it was on an urban exploring site Im part of

isthistaken, only some panels and glass, rest has been there so long the floor is actually gone.

When I start my volksrod build I will be collecting a ton of parts from this place, the cars date back to the late 30s early 40s and none were in accidents. Its crazy

So, I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I go back for visits regularly. 2 years ago, on one of my visits, I passed by a row of 3 abandoned car dealerships near where I went to High School. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed there was a car parked in one of the showrooms, of these otherwise abandoned dealerships. Interesting, but ultimately no big deal.

FFWD to last week. I'm back in town for another visit, and I pass by said car dealerships again, which are still abandoned, and this car is STILL in the showroom just sitting there. I decide to investigate further. This is what I found:

This appears to be a mid-80's Chrysler LeBaron (K-car), in MINT condition (minus the flat tires). No idea why it's been sitting in that dealership's showroom like this. In the past, this was a Chrysler/Jeep dealer, and I have heard that the owner of this dealer liked to keep classic cars in his showroom(s), so I guess this one just got left behind. Pretty neat!

About 10 years ago in a small city I came across a closed down, former BMW motorcycle dealership. Nothing in the showroom, but about a 30 year old BMW 750 boxer twin and a '60's BMW R60 flat twin motorcycle. Both appeared to be in not bad shape.

I went by the next year, the bikes were gone and there was a new business (non motorcycle dealer) there. I've wondered where those old bikes went.

Thanks for all the compliments!!!

This is part of a "truck graveyard" not too far from my home. The owner let's folks come and take photos a couple times a year. It's about 20 acres worth of trucks

Here is the color version:
