No, it is on the upper Mississippi. Don't know the story, saw it when we were boating Sunday and went into South Sabula Lake for lunch.

Probably let the battery run down and the autobilge pump stopped pumping. Saw something similar here with a 40 foot dive boat on Lake Lanier, only somebody had stolen its battery.

That's Bodie. It's a long way from civilization! It's just very well preserved...

Wow! I can almost imagine kids playing in the yards of some of the places in the background of the 3rd shot. :)

I like the photos on this thread. I really like the addition of the airplanes and boats. I've seen lots of old farm equipment and I think I grew it old auto junk yards as a kid. Keep 'em coming I like each and everyone posted.
Each photo seems to bring back some sort of memory or two.. thanks.

Wow those are awesome. All 3 are great but that first one is just 'wow'.

I hope I haven't posted this before. We found it on the way to photograph the wreck of the Sygna on Stockton beach in Newcastle.

Do you mean Bodie (external link)?

It's pretty much a little south east of Yosemite National Park. Click on the link for their site and directions.
