Good one. I have to wonder how they got it in there.
The more important question though, is how to get it "out" of there?
That would be an EXCELLENT tow truck to restore. I'm guessing mid forties to early fifties? :)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Well.....

I am in a motel room at the moment, and when I wrote the above comment. Right now I DO see the photo but earlier it did not show.

Sorry for the confusion! I will blame it on the motel room zombies!

Looks like this thread needs a boost. I just happened to be looking at another photo site I haven't been on in a while and found this.

http://www.shorpy.com/files/images/31629u.jpg (external link)

I hope I did that right. It's not my photo (I'm not old enough to have been around at the time this photo was taken) so I posted the link. If you haven't looked at this site yet, check it out. It's a bunch of old photographs back when photography was starting to catch on. Back when they used glass plates as their negatives. Very cool stuff on that site!

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

That sure looks more like a '60 fender and grille than a '61.

Here's a link to a 1960 wagon ad:

Here's a link to a 1961 ad:

The body looks like a 60 for sure, but it is amazing on the color match with the 61 model . . .

I'm surprised whoever owns the parking structure hasn't had it towed away.
