Just finished shooting these girls. I was very happy with how they came out. C&C welcome.

The images are Great! One note may be to move your subjects further away from
the backdrop.

Hey neighbor! Great shots, my favorite is the first one, good comp, good lighting and really sharp. Man, I can't wait to get my AB800!

In the second one her skin looks a little orange, maybe over processed. The third and fourth are great too.

Do you like the wrinkles in the backdrop? If not then you could photoshop them out. Some people tend to like them and some don't. I also like the vignetting but I think it's a little heavy, especially on the first two.

Now, go to bed, you have to get up early and go to work!

Yeah, I would move them further away if I could, but then the couch in my living room would be all you would see as I would have to be taking the picture from the other side of it :)

Yeah, I like a little wrinke... 3 has a little much for me, but I think I PS'd some of them out on the one I had printed.

And you're the one that has to get up early. I'm the slacker, remember ;)

precious children and precious photos too! i like vignettes usually but i think some of these are a little strong (the 2nd picture mainly) - maybe if you could just tone it down a little...it wouldnt distract from the absolutely adorable photo :)

Yeah, the more I look at it the more the vignette on #2 stands out as being too much.

For #3, adding the "bars" like that was the only solution I could come up with to get an 11x14 crop without losing feet. Does it work well, or does anyone have any other suggestions for pulling this off? Only other thing off the top of my head is to clone more of the background where the bars are. I suppose if I made the background ALL white, this would be simple, but I didn't want to mess with the look of the muslin too much.

To do it properly, you would have to clone the background which is pretty hard to do since the varying wrinkles are showing.

IMO, I actually like this pic cropped tighter, like I posted becuase it eliminates all the dead space. You wouldn't be able to get an 11x14 out of it but you could easily get an 8x10 out of it from the original file.

You will have to enlarge a bit after you crop this tight but make sure your resample is set to bicubic and run an unsharp mask over it once you do it. You could also do the final print at 200dpi, which would also gain you size from 300dpi (just make sure resample is unchecked in image size) .

You won't be able to tell a difference prinitng this image at 200dpi vs 300dpi.
Who knows, you may not like this image cropped this way and i just wasted 5 min of my life

Oh, I forgot to mentoin. I know you have CS3....in acr on the last tab or next to the last tab you can do vignetting and control how much you put on the image with a slider. You can reverse the effect also. it will give you more control than an action.
