Canon AV-1, then an A-1, then an F1n, then a T90. Then the first wife took them all, along with the eight lenses, in the divorce. Solicitors. Can't live with 'em, can't leagally shoot 'em.

In the late '70s I bought a Minolta SRTSC II with a 50mm f2 prime and a Sigma 35-70mm f2.8-4 zoom. A Vivitar 2600 flash and a few Hoya Filters. I still have them all. It was a very nice camera.

My first SLR was a Miranda GT, circa 1966...

I used my Dad's Mamiya-Sekor 1000DTL until I got a Minolta SLR and then later a Canon.

(I knew I liked Liza for some reason.) My first camera was also a Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL. I bought it because it had both an averaging meter AND a spot meter! Wowie!

During Vietnam, I replaced it with this... Look familiar?

Pentax S, released in 1958.

I bought mine used in late 1962.

It "featured", manual focus, manual diaphragm, no light meter (it used film;)), and an instant return mirror. Oh yes, it had a genuine leather case, and the strap was leather too.

I smile when someon wants more features on their current camera, particularly when so many don't know what the existing features are for.

Interesting thread, made me think about what cameras I have gone through over the years. First 35mm camera I had was a Argus C-3 wasn't really a SLR but did have changeable lenses and filters.
Argus C3
Bessler Topcon Auto 100, auto F-stops not focusing
Olympus OM 1
Canon AE-1
Mamiya-Sekor C-330, 2 1/4x2 1/4 for weddings
Canon EOS Elan
Minolta Maxxum 5
Canon 40D

Never realize I had gone through so many cameras.

I had the Beseler Topcon Auto 100, followed by Olympus OM 1, too!
