Horned Grebe winter colors

These guys are sure are drab in winter when they are here on the ocean.
Several were feeding by a floating lobster boat dock that let me get a low angle - I hid behind a pile of lobster traps and got some 500/1.4 closeups.

I think Grebes are so cool. I don't think I have seen one around here with red eyes.
