I got an off brand on Amazon along with two batteries for the same price as the canon brand grip. The company claims to cast from the same molds canon uses, and I love having the grip. One of main reasons I returned 40D was the fact that after using it for over a week, I picked up my old XTi and it felt soooo much better. I have average sized hands, btw. Ex-Canon shooter. Has a built in high capacity battery, good for about 1500 shots (compared to 300 with the stock one). Makes handing much better and adds a second shutter button for portrait shots.
