Hi all
I can buy a mint 1dMKII with just below 1000 clicks for 1600 euro (2379 USD but be aware, newprices are also a tad higher here in eu), should i buy it or wait until i can afford a 1dMKIII?

What do u guys think?

If you can afford it, then get it now. Then save to purchase the mkIII at later date, and keep mkII as backup..:lol:


Canon 1DMkII, 10D w/grip, 28-135 IS, 70-200 2.8 L, 300 f4 L IS, 1.4 MkII, 2X MkII, and too much more to list.

What do you use now? What is the intended use?
Why would you want a Mk3 and would you still want one if you've got a Mk2.

I think 1600 euro is a good price for a mint one.

A more used one might be a bit cheaper: Fotoapparatuur (external link)

I use a 20D now but want a cam with better AF "continueity" (or something like that)
I mean, i want to have less OOF pics.... 1d series have way better AF system...

AF depends a lot on the lenses used as well...
