I was contracted to photograph McCain when he visited Michigan this past Saturday. After doing that event it snowballed to covering all three of the main candidates campaigning for the new Michigan primary date.
First off it was great experience but honestly it was harder work than I am used to. Wow following these guys around and the type of acrobatics it takes to photograph them at an event is grueling.
Here are a few photos from the events.

Thanks Heather. I was fortunate enough to have this work out for me---but man it was a lot of work. I expected to have this be a quick in and out shoot but in order to get shots that others were not getting made it tricky. With this I was able to get paid and published on a national level. Then going through an average of 650 shots per event is huge work in itself.
I would recommend if you can get the work to do this once. Neat experience getting one on one's with the candidate and then the amount of work you have to put in to get shots that make the cut.........I am exhausted. Thank goodness I have a day job!
