Nobody has an IR photo taken with a Canon EF-s 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 lens?

stepatee Member 233 posts Joined Sep 2005 Location: Washington More info | I used the Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 on a trip to Italy and used it exclusively. I loved the pictures that I got from it. I did not notice any hot spots like with other lenses I have tried, but it is a little more prone to sun flare (so buy the lens hood!). Here is an example or two. The conversion company warns that the further away from 50mm the more focusing difficulty I might have and that was true. The 17-40 focused quite well, the 10-22 was universally soft. By the way, the lens hood from the 17-40L works on it, though it may not be the exact fit cause it was a little loose when I tried it on the rented 10-22 I used. Canon ~ 7D, 1D MkIIn, 5D, 20D, 10D, 100-400L IS, 70-200 2.8L IS, 24-105 f4L IS, 17-40 f4L, 135mm f2L, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4, 50mm 2.5 macro, Ext. tubes, TC's 1.4 & 2.0, Feisol 3441-S CF Tpod, Gitzo Traveler Mpod, Acratech ballhead, 550EX, 200EG bag, Epson Pro 3800 printer.
