This winter I'm packing up a few things and getting a one-way ticket to Portugal. I'm going to backpack around the Mediterranean until I reach Egypt, then head down as far into Africa as I can before I run out of money or until 10 months go by and I need to be back for med school. That being said, I need to learn how to take pictures of buildings, cities, urban life etc. I've got a rebel xti with the kit lens right now, and I'm getting a sigma 10-20 soon. I snapped a few shots on the way in to work a few months ago and just now got around to posting them. What sort of things do I need to work on?
