The battery, RAM, and hard drive are sealed up in it like an iPod which makes upgrading and even getting a new battery a hassle... I watched the demo over at the Apple site. Looks like they're basically touting it as being a wireless device. No ethernet port, wireless and bluetooth only. It does allow you to connect wirelessly with another pc, or mac, and use their optical drive remotely. You can get it with a 64 gig solid state hard drive, but at about a thousand dollar premium.
