Was wondering if anyone had experience in selling lenses here and suggestion on how to handle payments, shipping etc. Thank you in advance

I've sold plenty. I usually accept paypal for EChecks and google checkout for credit cards. Google is free till Feb 1st but even after that it is 2% which is lower than paypals 3% fees.

When I sell, I will usually give the buyer a 1 week trial and will offer a refund (minus shipping) as long as it was returned in the same condition and via insured shipping. I would only ship AFTER payment has been confirmed (paypal echecks take 3 to 5 days to pass inspection). Cold cash is always welcomed too.

It all started as a hobby with a Rebel XT & KIT lens. $5K worth of equipment & $0 of income later, all I have to show for it is a harddrive full of pictures and priceless memories!! Yeah it's still worth it :)

Thank you for the info guys!! Much appreciated, I am so clueless haha! I am going to sell my 24-70 Malla. I love the lens but taxes this year aren't going to be very kind and I tend to use it the least because I like to use the faster primes.
