My brother in law passed away this morning. He was 29 yrs old and leaves my beautiful sister and 3 precious children.

He was a great husband, father, soldier, and a fire fighter. 3 fire depts are coming together for his funeral and procession. I would very much like photographs of this. Morbid maybe, but I would like to be able to give the children something YEARS from now to help them remember WHO their father was and what he did.

If there is anyone out there willing and able to help me I would appreciate it greatly.

The services will *probably* be in the Paris/Sulphur Springs area. He was on the Paris FD.

Please pm me and I will get you the exact information as soon as possible.

Thank you very much,
kathy

Prayers and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Sorry I'm a little too far west in AZ but God Bless him and those he left behind.

So sorry for your loss... not morbid at all. When my grandmother (a WWII vet) passed back in April, I had a photographer friend take pictures at the memorial service... those are precious to me, and will be much more so precious to my two young boys later...

Thank you all so much for you thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. I have teased many times before in other threads that my sister is a lurker, really just a spy ;) She will really appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you.

Very sorry to hear about your family's loss. Prayers to all and especially the three children. No child should have to bear that loss at such a young age.

Kathy,

As per my other post I should be able to help since it will be on Saturday. I'll call you tonight or in the morning.

God Bless you and your family.

I'm so glad someone may be able to help you out. I feel terrible to hear your news. My heart and prayers go out to your sister and her children. He died a hero. But it's so hard to lose someone so special in your life. Especially when children are involved. God speed and hope you can get lots of pics for those important memories. ((hugs))

Grace,

My prayers go out to your family and his. I am a volunteer fire fighter her in Aiken and trust me when I say that the loss of a brother saddens us all. Rest at peace knowing he is at home now with St. Florian at that big station house in the sky. If I were closer or had a free day in my schedule I would fly down there and help shoot the precession for you.

When is this? I am REALLY sorry to here about it. I would love to go do this for his family, but I don't know if I will be able to make it up there. Either way though, my thoughts are with them...

I've posted a few of the shots from the service today on my blog (all with permission from the family).

It was an honor to help a friend.
