A couple osprey shots from Honeymoon Island. I got really close, maybe a little too close because I got the evil eye :)

That second shot is priceless Ray....based on that beak and those talons I would be running away very fast after getting that evil eye :)

Awesome composition on the 2nd one! I love how it is totally symmetrical...even down to the single foot with 3 prominent toes.

Upon further inspection, is it missing a leg? I think I may see a talon up buried in the feathers on #1, but usually when they shift their positioning on a perch, they will bring their leg down. Did you ever see the other leg?

Thanks MikeL. You know I never did see his other leg. I looked through all of my shots and didnt see it. To tell you the truth I really didnt stay to long. That look was a little scary - truth!
