If you did not use a Mac, what laptop would you recomend on the windows side? I am not a big Sony fan, but their XBRITE-HiColor Laptop displays are very nice looking. It would be used for photo editing and showing off our work to clients. Thanks in advance!

Hello there, i was wondering what you guys thought of the Apple MacBook Pro

[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]
  • 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 1440 x 900 resolution
  • 2GB memory
  • 120GB hard drive1
  • 8x double-layer SuperDrive
  • NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 128MB SDRAM

I want to use this to edit photos, as well to show off my work to potential clients.

I dont know much about computers, so i want to thank you all for you assistance.
Thanks

Alessandro

I have the previous generation of this , also a 15" and I would recommend getting the 17" if your budget stretches that far, I wish I had gone for the 17"

Get the fastest HD option [7200???]

get it with the smallest amount of memory built in then max it out with Crucial (external link) memory

use a 17" MBP with 4Gig and High Res screen. Works great for me when out and about (Not as fast as my Mac Pro, but much easier to lug around).

There will be lots of people saying get this or get that but the bottom line is the MBP will do all you want it to do.
