Not so much myself, but some of the 'crew' I was with did. I am sure you'll see some of it turn up on here at some stage. Yes there was a lot of bash and crash all weekend. Seems many young drivers out there were keen to make an impression. Some made the wrong one.

Thanks, I find the pits a far more interesting place to shoot. I suggest that if you want to see some more cracking pit shots, visit www.motorsportmedia.co.nz and have a look at the A1GP race meeting (can be found under the 'race meetings' link on the left hand side)
Yep, there was a few of them there. Got just as many shots taken of it as any of the A1GP cars did.

Yeah, it's funny the guys (on practice day at least) are really polite and often hold their work up for you to get the shot. I feel guilty when they apologise for getting in the shot. Kind of bizarre to be treated so nicely by the crews.

I'm not sure, but I think he was a gearbox/engine dude or something. A lot of the team were just drilling one or two wheels at a time. Several times I heard mechanics during pitstop practices ask to do some more. These guys are perfectionists.
