I need a flash meter god.
Or someone with a repair manual.
My flash meter V had a rattling issue in the sensor head. I took the two screws apart and the colored washers and clear protective washer fell out. The rattling was the sensor came unclipped somehow and then of course the washers fell out because they go between the sensor and the mount.
Anyhoo. I put it back together but I have no idea if the order is right...Of course it meters but are the washers in the right order?
What if the calibration is off?
It's a kick ass meter and I don't want to replace it, I just need to know what order they go in :(

It might not matter which washer goes in first, it might only matter about the total thickness being preserved. Rather than 'replace', send in for 'repair'.

That's what I was thinking. It's easy enough, there's a washer, colored spacer, washer, colored space, clear cover.
I'll try Minolta, just not sure if they even service this product anymore!
Thanks for the help Wilt!

Kenko recently started selling the former Minolta meters under the Kenko name. You might find out where they have meters repaired under warranty claims, and contact that place!
