i'm Gonna be new in Macro

is Macro great in low light situations?

not to speak of! with Macro you are always fighting between DOF and getting enough light. so I would say that low light is the worst scenario for macro, unless all you want to see is a third the thickness of a sheet of paper
There are others on this forum that will be able to give much better answers but that is my 2c.

What do you want to take pics of ?

As commented above normally you are fighting with small apertures and enough light even in good light- many of use flash because of this.
