Hi All

Can anyone please give me the website address where I can download the 580 EX MkII manual in PDF format so I can print it out in larger A4 format. It makes life so much easier than trying to press back the pages of a small - although well printed - instruction book.
These manuals were available to us on the Canon.au site at one time now they seem to have blocked this for some reason? If anyone can mail me this PDF or link address I'd be delighted.

Many thanks

Thanks Nortelbert

I have been to this link before - a worthy effort - and thanks to the person who took the trouble to prepare this - it is scanned and will print 2 pages on an A4 Landscape page.
I really want Canon's own PDF file. I can then print single pages to A4 - I'm sure you see what I mean.
It must exist on a Canon site somewhere as most of their manuals do. Perhaps Canon are afraid of some alien power getting hold of it - or - just protecting their third party vendor?
I do not see what Canon's problem is on these downloadable manuals - after all, we lavishly spend on their equipment and I don't see too many moans about pricing on these forums - is it a big deal for them to make downloadable handbooks available for free?

Hi Cookie
I was under the impression these downloads were available on the Australian Canon site - which now seems to have blocked us UK mortals from downloading from it. Perhaps you can check this from the Canon site your side of the globe.
Come to think of it Cookie - I could do with the MR14 EX Ringflash download as well - if you can extract it from somewhere. Thanks.

Just waste of spaces to print a hard copy. Why not download it and keep it in thumb drive. moreover it's easier for you to do a search with pdf copy.

Hi Daniel
Not a waste of space at all IMHO. It is far easier when sitting at a table learning all the various functions etc: flicking through the pages of a book than sitting looking at a screen.

Yeah, sipping a glass of wine while reading the manual is better off straining the eye on the hazardous laptop.
