Just don't forget about it when you let your foot off of it and start to walk off for some reason (It Can Happen, you know how human nature goes) or you could possibly rip your camera from your hands. That would be teh suck ...

What a great idea, seems like it'll be great for panning at motorsports events especially.

I was taught to do that with rifle slings to get a steadier shot

I tried out fishing wire and string/rope stuff, like he used. Didn't turn out so hot. Then again, i tried it with my 70-200 and not 18-50. Too stubborn and that's what I'd really want IS for. I might check Home Depot and see what they got.
