I just got my first mac and for some reason it will not allow me to click and drag files and folders. Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it?

Jan 17, 2008 22:17 | #2 In my experience, it depends on the files and folders you are trying to drag. And I have yet to find a rhyme or reason (I'm a PC/network tech on a MacBook. Life gets confusing.) If you are trying to move files or folders to a different folder, I have found the easiest way is to open 2 Finder windows-one of the files you want to move, one of the folder you want to move them to-then highlight all the files you want to move, drag them to the other window, and let go when you see the green + sign. Sometimes I have to click in the destination window once I get the + sign. These are good questions........... "Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
