Hi everyone!

I'm new here and I just wanted to introduce myself. :)
My wife and I are new wedding photographers here in Montreal, and so far we're loving it. Recently my wife got a new haircut so I decided to turn it into a mini impromptu photoshoot! C&C welcome, enjoy! If you have any questions about my technique, ask away as well.

Thank you!
Bartek

I know I slightly missed focus on her eyes in the first one but I love the photo so I'm posting it anyways ;)

#1 is the best IMO...very flattering for her.
Did you dodge the eyes any? The whites seem a bit bright in some of them. But nice work none the less, very pretty lady.
Duh....Welcome of course!

Yes, a little dodging and burning on the eyes. I sometimes go pretty bright with exposure and pp, but that's the way we like it! Bright and happy :)
But I will definitely keep your crit in mind.

Some great lighting and bokeh. Great job man!

Was this all natural lighting? Sure seems like it.

Yeah the bokeh is quite nice on the 85 for sure. And yes, this is all natural lighting (as we mostly shoot). Window behind me and some kitchen lights on behind her.

You should do more impromptu shoots...these look very planned and are already in the top 10% of the photos posted on this site, IMHO.
