Everglades: some white birds

more from my day in the everglades.

no in-flight shots here. I found it very difficult to properly expose these white birds in flight. Just couldn't adjust the exposure fast enough before they flew away. I have lots of photos with blown-out tops and dark shadowy undersides, giving me great respect for the real bird photographers here (as I said before, this trip was a special occasional for me, I'm not expert at all).

Really nice assortment David. I lived in Florida for awhile and never woned a camera.

I really like your results on the second photo especially. Fine separation of the bird from what appears to be a back light situation that to me actually adds to the shot with the rim of light surrounding the bird.
