an amazingly beautiful bird, and a delight to watch. He feeds by putting his bill in the water and waving it back and forth. There were lots of them but mostly too far away; this one was at the end of a short hike at bear lake

Nicely done..I like the use of foreground in the first one and the pose is classic. The colour is incredible...an unusual but beautiful subject. Well done.

Beautiful bird. I think it was this bird that is said to be the oldest bird still in existence.
