So this was my first time to the NAIAS, and was provided the once in a lifetime opportunity to pretty much have the entire show floor to myself for an hour. Except for about 5 other VERY professional photographers.

And without further adieu, here's 8/1170 images from the 9 hour day yesterday.

I wanna make this a poster.

Was able to take this from 100' away, there was really no one there:

Look at the eyes on this thing!

I love this blue sooo much

How the cars sleep when everyone goes home

I post this not because it's a good picture, it isn't, but because I have to represent for my favouritest car, in its worst colour.

And on the topic of the above picture, Detroit really tends to using glass barriers around all their cars which was REALLY frustrating and made the day difficult. Whereas Toronto uses decorative pipe barriers, or velvet ropes. Which I find much more accommodating to photography.

Nice shots! Love the angles. Got any more of the new RX-8?

Thanks. Let me go through them all again tomorrow (just on the way to bed), and I'll see what else there is of it. I know I got the rear, but I may have omitted a full body shot.

I'm going again next week, so requests are welcome :P Although that will be during the public showing, so getting clear shots will likely be near impossible. I want some full body shots of it myself, I love it, so I'll do my best when I return.

Thanks guys.

I'm only disappointed with 4 because of the "info stand" thing, maybe I can PS that out :P

I think I'm going to get the Camaro printed poster size I think.

I'm not going again until Friday, so I'm sure someone else will step up with RX8 pics before then. Couple others, but were more focused on the Furai:

Awesome captures! Couldn't make it this year, was able to attend last year. But last year I only had a Canon point and shoot. :(

Thanks, I will take back what I said about that being its worst colour, silver is its worst colour, that can be the 2nd worst :P

Don't feel bad about not making it to Detroit, Toronto will be more than enough. Having been to TO many times, and Detroit for the first time this year, Detroit wasn't really much better.
