48th Rally Acropolis start

Hello my friends !

Yesterday was shoot day for me.It was the official start of the Rally Acropolis here in Athens Greece.
I made a site with the help of Photoshop.
The images are unedited except from rotation and resizing to 640x480.
The flip out LCD of the G1 is a strong point for a digital camera.I am still amazed with the colours that can reproduce.

I just watched the rally from Finnish TV! How did you get so close to the cars (and girls)? Seems like a public display of the cars?

It was the official start! Every year the start of the rally is held here in the center of Athens.The race is out of the city.Yes, you can almost touch the cars at the start...
and the girls too...
This was my first time at the start... With the G1 I realise how many events I lost out...
For next year I MUST plan to be a spectator of the rally too where the real action is.Yes, there will be enough dust and sun, but it is worth to see the cars in action.
