Something Missing

OK OK, Apart from half her face.:lol:

I cropped this from a head and shoulders shot, but there is something missing. Having more than half the face just doesn't work.

Although the eyes are pin sharp, there is still something about this that I don't feel is right.

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish. There's a lot of noise, just not an attractive picture IMHO.

A lot of noise on the shoulder and in the empty space. The face is nice, it's too bad you couldn't have a tighter crop or have the face portion up till the end of the earing fill the screen

Noise was deliberate

since you have image editing on..hows this?...slight curve adjustment for a bit of a glow... and a noiseware pass

You're very welcome, I actually liked it too.

When I did the noise pass it came out nice but when I bumped the middle curve I thought the jewlery and the makeup of the eye popped out really nice. I stand corrected on my crop suggestion, I think this works.

For me it would probably work better if the Jewelry were sharp, especially the piece on her head.

i think for this type of crop you need the eye contact - that way it explaines the missing part of the face - there too much left unexplained without it - imo :)
