Goodness, that photographer was just a bit psychotic, wasn't he?

Apparently. I am only a few miles away from him but never met him. I know he pressured a friend of my wife to go with him to do her wedding and she was so sorry...he was sooo arrogant and pushy and his images were no that great.

Wow he sounds insane - I'm glad it worked out for the family, that must've been scary. I'm actually kind of curious to see some of his work now...

Dear WV Record, When posting a story about a family being harrassed through mailing do not post the families address in your photos on the article!! Don't ya think it would have been smarter to not leave their address on the envelope - black it out?

Anyways, his photos are not that good (his website url is on the envelope as well)...and obviously he's got a few screws missing.

Blasphemy! There's nothing wrong with film! If anything, digital has a long way to go before catching up with BW and large format film...but anyway, that's an irrelevant can of worms that doesn't need to get opened up in this thread :D.

I think I'll print out screen shots of his website and then mail him the cut up prints.

I think he should get some points for his attorney's name at least.

"The wind in the willows" comes to mind.

Well at least he's got the personality to be a sports photographer and rush the field.

Not this again...

When people get awarded these huge amounts in damages against another individual, do they ever expect to get that money? Also, what happens if (or more probably, when) they don't (or can't) pay?

Mike

don't pay = jail and a hold on your bank account.
can't pay = every check for the rest of your life is used to pay until done.
