Make them lighter and brighter less cluttered back grounds and not have part of a bush in front of the rider.
On shots 1 and 3 the riders faces have good lighting, focus is OK, just a little bit of movement on the front wheel, but thats fine as it gives the impression of speed.
But just to much to look at in the pictures.

Still think they could be lighter and by being lighter it will bring out more detail.

I prefer the second batch of them. The first, your photoshopping (blurring basically) of the background is too noticeable. There's no grading to the bokeh.

But the second lot of retouching looks great! Well done! :)

Add some motion blur, the background is distracting.

Liked the second batch.

I dont really like the one above me. jakes makes it seem kinda cheesey, as to the fact that he is coming towards you. Kinda surprising though he's using almost all of the travel!

I liked the second lot best.. I do not feel that the background is too cluttered, and in fact it provides ambiance and a "Stage" for the ride.

Maybe use the DOF capabilities of your post pro software a little more cautiously, or apply graded blur in selections as you feel they should be, not just uniform blur.

I also do not mind the guy coming out from behind the bush. It's that sort of variety that makes for a good set of photos.

Your motion blur did not work, mainly because it's at the wrong angle, and the guy is coming right at ya! (unless he is actually sliding )<G> and there would be no blur as you have shown it. Also you blurred the rider as well. Maybe use it with more caution.

If there is one criticism I have of them as a group, it is that they all tend to be from the same perspective. While capturing the facial expressions on the riders is fun, there are other angles. And there you may get either _real_ motion blur, or be able to apply some.

I find the saturation still a tad too high, although it does make them stand out well against the background.
