How do I set the 'self timer'?

Press the "Func" button, go to the Drive Mode and there it is. p. 14 in the Basic manual. It's not available in all modes. There's a table starting on p. 128 of the Advanced Guide that shows what's available in which modes.

Press FUNC.SET button, scroll the left menu down to drive mode (3rd item), and choose among 10s, 2s, or custom.
You'd better choose a more appropriate title next time ;)
