It maybe that I don't have my glasses on but they look a little blurred to me. Colours and reflections in the first image are real nice.

they are blurred (kit lens?) and exported/shot at a low setting by the look of it. i see lots of squares.

Thanks to all of you for the comments. I agree that some of the lights on the buildings are blown out. One question for all of you though is how can I maintain the resolution and shrink the photo down to the size restriction for posting? This was my first post so I am learning. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

I would forget hosting the images here. We're photographers and strive for the best quality right? Placing file restrictions on your final work is a no no as far as I am concerned. The best thing to do would be host your photos at a third party image hosting site and link it here. A good place to start is Image Shack.

When you upload an image there you get the option to copy the link for a forum and a host of other situations which are handy. For example you can link us to a very very large image by displaying a moderately sized thumbnail for us on the forum. It's pretty neat. I would recommend getting an account at Image Shack as you can go back to your images you hosted to get the links for other forums and any other need you might have.
