Well I got my website set up via instaproofs and will do my own printing at Costco (my local one gives great prints, and I just ordered some for mail-order, hoping there is no price sheet given in the package and if quality is good, that will be even easier). Figured that doing it this way would allow me to crop/PP 200+ pictures per album much easier

Greetings musicmaster,

Now that you have used Instaproofs for a few months, are you satisfied so far? I am really considering switching to Instaproofs but I just want to make sure that it is worth the switch.

I'd appreciate any kind of feedback you can provide.

Peace,
Yanis :D

I have used Instaproofs for the last year. I have no complaints with them. Billing was accurate, except one instance where they charged me 1.5% not 15% ;) Their reminder system that emails visitors to your site reminding them the gallery is still online works well. Every time a reminder went out I always got additional orders, even 9 months later.

The only reason I'm not using them now is because there's finally a Canadian site which also fulfills prints. If you use Instaproofs and therefore fulfill your own prints, even at Walmart or Costco, make sure you are charging enough to cover your time, gas, photo mailer envelope & postage. I found the fulfilling to take more time than I wanted so I'm welcoming the new site doing all that work for me this year.

Hello Lindsey,

Definitely an excellent feedback. You made a good point in regards to charging enough for time, gas, photo mailer envelope & postage. Especially with the price of gas skyrocketting, it is definitely a factor that has to be considered when fulfilling your own orders.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Peace,
Yanis :D
