...on one use cards?
Early last year there was a few articles around that were stating that SanDisk was going to make an announcement about a new one use media card technology that allowed the content to be safely stored for 100's of years, in effect creating digital film. This announcement was supposed to be around mid 2007.
Anyone ever hear anything? I know they did a line of one-use products, but this one was different. Would be great for those like my mother-in-law who we currently just buy her a new 1gb SD card every time she fills one. She still shoots like it is a film camera, so 1GB usually lasts her a year! I am a little concerned though about shelf life of this solution.
