By the light of the moon

I took advantage of the full moon tonight to take a moonlit landscape. This is a snow covered field. I live on the prairie, so everything is flat and there aren't many trees

Very cool idea. The moonlight makes the field look like water. With the flare, and the halo around the moon, it could just as easily be a daylight shot with lots of ND on the lens. I give it a solid 92...I can dance to it!

What is that cool new blue planet? I agree with the above comment.

I like this a lot. how did you get that effect with the moon? is it just an eight point star effect filter?

I think it was probably caused by whatever filter was on the lens.
