Thanks for your comment. The location is up on a hill, in a park overlooking the river. In fact to make this shot, I had to stand on a wall about 2 feet wide with my tripod barely open. I made a pass of vertical pano shots and then the lights went (because of the morning time). So this was a "one and done" type image that was stitched together in LR.

It was challenging
One of hardest was getting material into it. They had to back trucks for long distances on very narrow windy road.
The repairs started at the bottom of the washout, about 80 metres down stream, probably 30 metres below the road level, and then work back to the top to make a bed for the culvert. Meanwhile the water kept coming.
