London Bridge, a prominent attraction in Sandstone, is part of a larger formation about 800 metres long, varying in height from around 3 to 10 metres. It is formed of weathered basalt and the rock is believed to be about 350 million years old

Blimey TT, I'll bet the real London Bridge doesn't last that long!

Nature is wonderful

It didn't say that the bridge was VERY narrow. The van wheels were almost touching both the steel nearside curb and the white line, but there was traffic behind so no going back and we were committed!

It's a very long bridge when the traffic coming at you is also nearly touching the white line!

Cool. I used to live about 4 km from them, whatever that is in miles. :-) From time to time I'm back in the area.

K to miles divide by 8 times 5. So 2 ½ miles
