A part of the E6 highway, built by icelandic ISTAK and Sudurverk, and chinese SRBG (Sitchuan Road and Bridge Group). Here seen from the south side of the bridge. (Not to be confused with the Forth (Rail) Bridge about a mile East. I saw the bridge under construction in 1963 but this was the best picture I could find and it was taken an Olympus PenE half frame. (I don't know why I didn't use a full frame 35mm.) There has since been an additional bridge built.
