All joking aside, these are some great pictures of a bridge that has been photographed in every way possible. Good job.

Thanks. Yeah, I see comments about things being "overshot" all the time. Mesa Arch, for example, and any number of formations in other National Parks, as well as man-made structures. The only time I've shot the Golden Gate before was from a cruise ship, so photographing it is pretty "new to me." Icons continue to be photographed for a reason. This "rant" isn't really aimed at you; you just happened to have broached the subject

I live in the area, and take tons of pictures of the bridge. It is a great target, and it can give you a different view from the same position from moment to moment. The weather is that much of a game changer. Considering the great quality of your images, you dont have to worry about my poking fun at the subject.

I wished I lived closer, or had had more time there. I know time of day (and night), weather conditions, and a change in elevation can make huge differences. I really wanted to shoot it from the top of the hill on the far end, and get some night shots. Some clouds would have been nice. Another time, maybe.
