I already have two other camera bags, but since my equipment seems to be growing, I'm in the market for yet another camera bag to carry all my gear in. I currently have the Canon 100-DG and the Lowepro Orion Trekker II (which is very nice, it's just a really tight for my liking to fit all my gear in - minus the 20D).

I have been researching the Crumpler 7 Million Dollar bag, but I have a quick questions about the capacity of it. My main concern with this bag is that it fits one body w/ grip and 3-4 lenses. As you can see from my sig, I have two bodies (20D w/o grip) and I just wanted to see if I could fit the 20D in the bag in addition to my 5D + grip and 3 lenses (I wouldn't carry the 580ex w/ me since this would be for hiking trips).

I don't have my mindset on Crumpler; I had just read a lot of positive reviews about their products. Thus, if you have any other suggestions, I would certainly be open to them.

I have the 7MDH and its s great bag that I use for everyday use (easily holds one body + 16-35, 24-105 & 70-200 + 580EX and the usual accessories). Having said that I would never use it for hiking and I also doubt it would handle two bodies very well. For hiking I use a Kata R-103 back pack, which is another excellent bag. It easily holds two bodies plus the above noted lenses and accessories (plus a 1.4X TC & Lee filters). As a bonus it has a tripod holder which works very well. The Kata can also be used to carry the 400mm lens as well but I have to give up one of the other lenses to do it.

After carrying a shoulder bag (like the 7MDH) while hiking, I think you will have sore shoulders :)

Check my review. I need to go borrow my friends camera again to do a review on 2 bodies but it will pending your setup. Is the second body going to have a lens attached? You should be able to manage a flash as well.

You could definitely carry 2 lenses, a body with lens attached, and another body w/o a lens attached. You could potentially do more if you wanted to be creative.

^Yeah, that's what I was saying. Maybe I could just show an examle of where the body would be. Aniwho, I know it'll do a 5D/xxD series and a Rebel because the S3 is more or less the same size and I used to carry that with all my stuff even when I had rented the 100-400L. It's surprisingly big despite the padding and those side "hidden" pockets can still be useful. I used mine for a filter wallet and lenspens.

When I had my Rebel XTi, I would fit my 5D with lens attached, 3 other lenses (or 2 lenses and my 580ex), and my XTi without any real creativity. :)

Thanks for the opinions everyone. More than likely I would have the 70-200 mounted on the 20D if anything.

Scott - I've been taking what you said into consideration, since I'm venturing out to the PNW or SW states this summer for vacation/photo-op's. I know that in the past, I have my Lowepro backpack over my shoulders with my 5D + lens mounted on my tripod. I could always do it that way, and have the 20D and other lenses in the backpack. It seems from your description that the 7MH would be good for short trips or whatnot, and not the all day hiking/trekking that I would be doing.

I'm still going to look into the 7MH, but I may just stick to my Lowepro backpack for now.

Hiking, stick with a backpack.
