Some of these have not gotten the same sort of attention to detail in PP as I normally do before getting them to the web, this time I did some in reverse order, but thought I'd share.

Lioness in second last shot works best for me. Eye contact a winner. Nice shot

Number one stands out but something about the light doesn't seem right - too cool. the title weas exactly what I thought when I first saw it.

Great series Jake, I always wondered, do photographers freeze the first time a big cat looks directly at them through a telephoto lens? :D

When we were being surrounded by a pride of seven, at first we were too busy clicking away to really have any feelings other than "oh man this is great" and sheer awe,..

But as they walked past our open car windows,.. power windows with the motor shut off,.. :shock: ... close enough to smell them,. that was when we finally realized the situation, and saw our own reflections in there gaze, and we were pretty much "pork chops" :)
