Front lens elements in the G6 - a bit wobbly?

Just wondering if this is normal for the G6. The front lens elements seems to wobble, slightly, a bit unnerving but doesn't affect the AF. I have seen this with film PS cameras, so I'm a little confused if this is part of the design.

Just checked our Kodak CX6330, and its lens barrel is a bit wobbly too- must be the way zooms are made to work on digital cameras. I wonder if pushing the lens cap off a few times might affect the action of the G6.

My G3 wobbles a little too. Doesn't seem to effect it though.

My buddy has both the new G6 and the G3, and this is the case with each camera. Must be a design of the lens. At least I'm not paranoid.... :D
