African Wood-owl (at the limits!)

This guy was shot on a trip to Botswana.

It was quite late in the day and the light was failing fast - I moved the ISO setting to the maximim and shot about a dozen pictures, of which this is the only one not obviously suffering from camera shake.

ISO 1600, 1/15, f4, 300mm (hand held). Some pp to minimise noise, and the usual cropping/resizing.

Excellent shot....1/15 hand held at 300mm is amazing. Very well done.
