You must have been shocked by a camera before to know that you might get a horrible shock...
Back in the days of film point and shoots, my Mom broke her P&S and my Dad thought he could fix it. They took the batteries out and left it for a day...
He came home from work at 3am and started trying to work on it while the rest of us were asleep - we all woke up to "YEEE OWWWW!!"
Capacitors hurt!
Funny story
I once had a point and shoot when I was new to digital. I dropped the camera, and decided I'd try and fix the jammed lens.
Opened it up, and touched some metal contact by the capacitor. One of the biggest shocks I've ever had. Really didn't expect it. At that point I went out and bought a 20D, and was the start of where I got to today.
As for dreaming and stuff - I dream all the time I'm on a beach for sports illustrated, doing swimwear calendars.
