They allow those in the Repulic of Kali? :) I've been shopping for the same to fit in the camera bag. The 1911 is a bit beefy for that purpose :D

Anyways, I like the shot, I need to get around to taking some of my new Springfield XD .45

Great shot. I really like the lighting. I would try for a little less DOF.
My own 2 cents on the whole clip thing. I used to throw stuff at my shooters when I was a range coach if they called their magazine a clip. R. Lee Ermey demonstrated this with a paper clip and a magazine. The paper clip fit in the magazine, but the magazine won't fit in a clip.
Also I have a Springfield 1911 A-1 Ultra Compact and it fits great in a camera bag! I do live near Detroit after all!

The whitebalance seems a little off to me, but I like the overall look.

Thats a sweet shot!

Just to chime in on the "magazine" / "Clip" debate, I've made the same mistake and called it a clip over and over and over. Do I care...nope. I know what I'm talking about when I say clip, magazine, or whatever.

But........it is a magazine, not a clip :-)

No doubt there JDMist, I know what you mean. I just left the local Wal-mart, where I had parked at the far end of the parking lot. As I walked down the lot, I kept to the right of middle so as to not get hit by cell phone yapping soccermoms. I have never been so scared in my life... I mean grown man peeing in his pants kind of scared here... I was scared to death one of those driverless cars was just going to jump up and run over me right out of the blue! I wish they'd put a waiting period on buy cars, I'm worried someone might get run over!

:D
